3rd WEEK, CHALLENGE 2: SELF-PORTRAIT

     Assalamualaikum and Hi people! 👋

This week I have learnt a lot about digital photography since last week Dr. Shukri introduced us with the surface of this course. If in last week lesson I learnt about information that a photo should have which is EXIF DATA, this week I explore features of  my camera that will help me in producing better pictures. One of it is grid lines! This lines will help me in composing my shot. I've been using this feature since I bought my phone I guess but I never used it the way it should be used. While I was scrolling a blog on how to gear up my phone for this course, I found out about some features that is already on my phone but I never used such as the professional mode where I can adjust the ISO, Shutter speed and many more. This new knowledge and tricks definitely will help me to capture better photos since the best camera is the one that is always with me!

When Dr. Shukri mentioned about film camera, I have no idea how it works but after some discussion and googling, I seriously want to try it to see the outcome because these days, I can't have any access to it and I did download an application from play store claiming that the picture is as same as film picture. So I think it would be best if I can really compare them both. To know there's a lot of digital camera, that's also interesting and I think this will help me to buy digital camera in the future.

Before we ended the class session, Dr. Shukri mentioned about this week challenge which is self portrait. It required us to portrayed ourselves in a picture that represent us in the most aesthetic and creative way! I don't think this is creative enough since it is my face I need to capture and edit but I think it did represent me. Haha. I really look forward for next week challenge which is food photography because think I enjoy taking food photo the most. So what you see down here is me trying my best to do a self-portrait (no-judge please haha).

Definitely need more more knowledge and skills.
