WEEK 10 REFLECTION!

Hellooooo everyone! I hope you all doing fine despite this pandemic :( Stay home and stay safe ok! So, for this week's class, our class instructor, Dr Shukri released our final assessment project, we need to complete a photobook using all the techniques he has taught us throughout the whole semester. He even give us the freedom to decide our own topic-no specific theme, no specific technique! It sounds easy at first but since the pandemic and all this MCO, I believe it's not as easy as it sounds. Luckily we were given a long period to finish this, so I think everyone In Shaa Allah will do good. I haven't decided yet what specifically I want to capture and show to all my classmates but I have the big idea in my head already. (Let's pray I excel this one). I guess that's all for now, I'll see you in my next entry! Follow the SOP and stay at home okay!!!

WEEK 9, CHALLENGE 8!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my entry.  Since we don't have any synchronous class for today as my lecturer need to attend a meeting, we were given a task that is not hard to be understood but absolutely hard to be done- SILHOUETTE! I think many factors has made this challenge the hardest one for me out of all challenges we had done which include geography factor and having limited props at home. Since it is MCO and at the same time Ramadan, this had also made the challenge went a little harder than the previous one.  As much as I said it is hard to be done but my lecturer was there almost all the time to comment and help me to get the best. I lie if I said I am not frustrated each time he rejected my photos, but that is how it works and I understand it. When my subject had a story, the silhouette effect isn't good, when my silhouette effect was okay, my subject is not...I am indeed struggle to produce a good ones. I am aware that mine isn't really good but as mentioned earl...

Hey peeps! How are you all? I hope everyone is still sane despite all the challenges we need to face :) If you feel like talking to share anything don't hesitate to reach me, or anyone you feel comfortable with to let go anything you have kept inside....Do anything that can distract you from feeling anxious or simply to cheer you during this hard time okay?  Talking about things that can make us happy, I felt relieved after I did this week's challenge because I personally thought this week's challenge is not just hard but at the same time, tricky! We see a lot of people usually play with black and white theme for their pictures but I bet you have seen some that can't be understood or the story isn't delivered well. Until today I am still trying to learn more about this week's challenge - black and white and of course with the application of rules we have learnt! \ Since my lecturer had given us a very specific task to us- to do a kind of photo essay with 'A...

WEEK 8, CHALLENGE 7!

HEY WHAT'S UP PEOPLE? Welcome back! Another week another challenge!! (Please read like how Anna said it in her starbies video) HEHE So, this time, I learnt about...........FLAT LAY!  Flat lay   is simply a photo of objects arranged on a flat surface, captured from directly above (can also be referred to as a bird's eye view) . Have you ever take a picture of food from the top of it before you eat it? That's flat lay. Mostly, food photography uses this kind of technique but it's not just limited to it. You may use it to promote your products such as book or even your clothes!  Basically, flat lay emphasizes on the lighting, subject and the composition! This time challenge is not bad for me. It really requires us to be creative and I think for the very first time do it properly with knowledge, mine is not bad (: OF COURSE IT STILL NEED A LOOOOT OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS, but this is my very first time!   ESSENTIAL DURING COVID! BAKE AND BAKE! What do you guys think?...
